Step-by-step examinations

Home Inspection Services

Your home inspection is a thorough, in depth, visual examination of the structural and operating components performed by a certified home inspector. The usual home inspection will take 3-4 hours. You’re invited to follow along with us for a step-by-step examination with our home inspector of the property. We’ll gladly address and answer any concerns or questions you have along the way. It is here that the authoritative expertise of David Millard’s 20 plus years of experience in building and construction provides impressive value added. While many less rounded inspectors simply advise to find a qualified professional to rectify problems, David Millard’s vast experience with building and construction provides you specific advisory on what’s involved – saving valuable time by providing meaningful analysis on the spot, all included in the price of the home inspection.

On-Site Reports

Many companies say “We do not provide on site inspection reports. We consider these types of reports to be precisely vague and do not offer home inspection clients a true peace of mind!” At Millard Home Inspections we use the latest in technology to deliver top notch reports. We have also found that leaving the site before you are finished increases the odds of forgetting an important detail. Furthermore, during report writing other questions can arise about an item that can only be answered by a second look, a second look is not possible hours later from home. Check out the report below, this is an actual report that was delivered on site (the clients name and actual address have been changed for privacy). We are very proud of the reports we deliver to our clients and constantly strive to improve the detail and quality. At any time we encourage our clients, realtors and even other inspectors to critique our work and/or offer suggestions for improvement.

When your home inspection is over, you’ll receive a 30-50 page photo-illustrated home inspection report (page numbers can very depending on the size of home and number of deficiencies) that gives easy to read details on:
